Some great news to report - conservative Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Michael Sullivan, has taken the lead in a new poll conducted for the upcoming Special Election primary: The one caveat that needs to be pointed out: due to the large number of undecided voters in the race, it is still very much up in the air. And we aren't going to fall just short of victory as we did in the race in South Carolina. This time we are going to achieve victory for a constitutional conservative. Tea Party Express, the largest Tea Party political action committee, is commemorating the 3rd year of Obamacare with a week-long "Defund and Repeal Obamacare Money Bomb." Our goal is to raise $25,000 in the next week.

While Obamacare was never something Americans wanted, it hasn't even lived up to the Democrat's hype. Premiums are expected to rise 169%, an estimated 7 million working Americans are going to lose their employer-provided health coverage, and small businesses are either being forced to layoff workers or will be unable to hire new workers - all thanks to Obamacare.

We cannot afford the largest tax-hike and biggest Federal Government instrusion into private business in the history of America right now - it will be disasterious!

The Democrats in Washington have shown no interest in repealing this disastrous piece of legislation that will kill economic growth and hurt the middle class. That's why we are launching our "Defund and Repeal Obamacare Money Bomb."

Dear Patriot,

A week in Washington DC is enough to cause grey hairs. I try to be respectful but I have to say it's a huge effort for me. The conservative elite are busy talking about a Presidential election. They are focusing what we did wrong when the campaign went national when what they really need to be focusing on is how to improve on our successful 2010 game plan.

What the establishment doesn't seem to get is that the midterm elections are a big opportunity to us but they are vastly different than the Presidential elections where all the media and fundraising oxygen is sucked in by a single campaign structure. If you actually want to beat the Democrats you'll look at what happened when those resources were spread among a variety of sources who focused in on individual races as small as city council. Midterms are about creating local stories and local heroes and local villains that inspire people to participate.

The gun issue is a huge issue. Colorado hasn't been a blue state long and being from the West I know that our strong tradition of responsible gun ownership runs deep. A gun-grabbing Democrat is representing the frontier land of Alaska. We can organize powerful organizations around this issue in places that we don't normally have a winnable fight.

You need to stop being so busy networking with other tech guys and people inside the DC bubble and travel the country involving yourself in these fights. Use your powerful networks to prop up candidates but take the time to go to their city, town, and county and get to know the story beyond the surface.

If you can't do it, help me. I'm prepared to take an amazing team of people barnstorming around the nation to overturn establishment powers. I'm not just targeting politicians, I'm targeting their support mechanisms. I'm looking for any weakness in their powerful machines that can be exploited.

The Republican Party thinks that they need to instruct you with a 100 page manifesto. When really all we need to do is spread out and wreak havoc!

I look forward to seeing you other warriors around the country, may the force be with you.

I'm raising money. Open source style. I want to help sponsor and assist as many battles as the team I can build can possibly handle. Big fights or little fights now is the time for us to engage the establishment at every level. The only lynchpin is that we need money and we need to raise it transparently. No secret donors. We don't need Karl Rove money but we do need resources, and the more resources we get the more places we'll have a significant impact. I've always been able to count on the grassroots to step up and fund these projects and I'm trying to get big checks written, but I haven't gotten it done yet, and that is on me. We're getting closer and I remain impatient.

The thing is I will never let the big donors have more say than all of you. All I can offer them is the private peek I give everyone I meet in-person. I ask people to support us because I really believe in what we're doing even when I don't always know exactly how we're going to do it. We are war with the most powerful people in world history. We didn't start this war, but we damn sure intend to win it by reclaiming our government at every level, everywhere.

"How To Stop Dangerous Gun Laws!"

Last week, the USCCA community played a major role in stopping a dangerous gun control bill in Colorado from becoming law.

In short, Colorado House Bill 13-1226 was sponsored by a liberal state representative, and was designed to make carrying concealed illegal on every college campus in the state. As we all know, such proposals do nothing more than pet the delusional egos of backward-thinking people who think that disarming law-abiding, well-prepared, responsibly-armed citizens will somehow keep them more safe. The reality is that everyone is far safer when good people are armed and prepared to save lives when it counts most.

We got involved in the campaign to stop this bill because we met the four ladies from Colorado Students for Concealed Carry who were at the center of the efforts to get this bill shelved. We were able to help them create advertising and a social networking campaign that showed Colorado lawmakers that people all over the state and nation were against any kind of law that would give a preying criminal an advantage over innocent students, faculty and visitors on college campuses. After all, it's law-abiding citizens who obey gun laws, not criminals.

Needless to say, the campaign went viral, with over 5 Million people viewing, sharing, commenting, and promoting our posts! On Friday at 11:40pm, the representative who sponsored the bill shelved it indefinitely. Because of the voices of millions of good people like you, we shut down this dangerous bill and won a significant battle in the war on our rights.

So what does this mean for you if you live outside of Colorado? It means that your voice matters. If there is a cause worth fighting for, it is up to you to make your elected officials answer to their constituents. It is up to you to lend your voice to what you believe in. If you do, anything is possible.
