"How To Stop Dangerous Gun Laws!"

Last week, the USCCA community played a major role in stopping a dangerous gun control bill in Colorado from becoming
law.
In short, Colorado House Bill 13-1226 was sponsored by a liberal state representative, and was designed to make carrying concealed illegal on every college campus in the state. As we all know, such proposals do nothing more than pet the delusional egos of backward-thinking people who think that disarming law-abiding, well-prepared, responsibly-armed citizens will somehow keep them more safe. The reality is that everyone is far safer when good people are armed and prepared to save lives when it counts most. We got involved in the campaign to stop this bill because we met the four ladies from Colorado Students for Concealed Carry who were at the center of the efforts to get this bill shelved. We were able to help them create advertising and a social networking campaign that showed Colorado lawmakers that people all over the state and nation were against any kind of law that would give a preying criminal an advantage over innocent students, faculty and visitors on college campuses. After all, it's law-abiding citizens who obey gun laws, not criminals. Needless to say, the campaign went viral, with over 5 Million people viewing, sharing, commenting, and promoting our posts! On Friday at 11:40pm, the representative who sponsored the bill shelved it indefinitely. Because of the voices of millions of good people like you, we shut down this dangerous bill and won a significant battle in the war on our rights. So what does this mean for you if you live outside of Colorado? It means that your voice matters. If there is a cause worth fighting for, it is up to you to make your elected officials answer to their constituents. It is up to you to lend your voice to what you believe in.
